College Prep 101: Follow Up and Resources

We recently had our College Prep 101 GIRL$ Program at Spelman College and would like to thank the lovely ladies of NCNW-Spelman Section and our featured speaker, Andrea Powers of Next Step Education Foundation, Inc., for dedicating their time to help prepare and inspire a new generation of leaders.

During the program, our girls gained insight on selecting colleges, applying for entrance, and gaining financial assistance. They also had the opportunity to tour the beautiful Spelman Campus and converse with current college students-what an impact!!

While in middle school and high school, we know how overwhelming thinking about college can be. Whether it’s uncertainty about what to study and what school to go to,  confusion over the application process, worries about affordability, or anxiety over test scores, sometimes we just need insight on what to expect and how to prepare. Luckily, your Fairy Godmothers and community supporters got you!

If you were unable to attend or need a reminder of the information that was provided, it’s no problem! Thankfully, Ms. Powers was kind enough to send us the helpful resources she used during her presentation. You will find them below:

Thank you all for your continued engagement and support of the Enchanted Closet, Inc. We could not continue to make our impact without you!
