Franzene Minott, College Student
Franzene Minott is a senior psychology major and political science minor at Georgia State University. The daughter of Jamaican immigrants, her upbringing and international experiences taught her that changing the world begins with your community. While interning for the World Affairs Council of Atlanta, she worked alongside U.S. diplomats and leaders to inform the public on how global issues impact Atlanta’s business community. She also has a history of student mentoring and leading youth programs at her local academy.
Throughout her career, Franzene hopes to inspire young girls to believe that their aspirations are boundless and is dedicated to dismantling the institutional barriers limiting their opportunities.
